In keeping with the founder’s conviction that beautiful music is best made in a beautiful environment, the Bryn Mawr Conservatory of Music is housed in an elegant Main Line mansion dating from the 1870s.
Each of its eight teaching studios is provided with a Steinway grand piano and is decorated with artwork of a particular style or period.
The intimate Concert Room seats thirty and is furnished in the manner of a French salon.
Located in the heart of Bryn Mawr’s educational district, the Conservatory is within walking distance of Bryn Mawr and Harcum Colleges, and of the Baldwin and Shipley Schools.
It is a five-minute walk from the Bryn Mawr train station, where SEPTA’s Paoli-Thorndale regional rail service makes frequent stops, and there is sufficient parking in our private lot for those who choose to drive to their lessons.
