Bryn Mawr Conservatory of Music Guitar FacultyDr. Pardo received the Artist Diploma of the Panama National Institute of Music and holds the degree of Master of Music in Guitar as well as a doctorate in Composition from Temple University. He was a post-doctoral fellow at the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University. His teachers included Manuel Barrueco, Leo Brouwer, and Pepe Romero. He has performed to critical acclaim in Central America, Europe, and the United States. His is internationally renowned as a teacher and composer. He was a visiting lecturer at Oxford University in the spring of 2010 and is a member of the faculty at New York University.
