Frank Ferraro

Mr. Ferraro holds the degree of Bachelor of Music from the Curtis Institute of Music, where he studied with Frank Kaderabek, former principal trumpet of the Philadelphia Orchestra. He has performed as soloist with the Reading Symphony Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra, and the Curtis Institute Symphony Orchestra. He is Principal Trumpet of the Reading Symphony Orchestra and Co-Principal Trumpet of the Delaware Symphony Orchestra. He was Principal Trumpet of the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina, and in Spoleto, Italy, from 1988 to 1992, and Principal Trumpet of the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia from 1989 to 2002. He is Band Director at Our Lady of Mercy Regional Catholic School in Maple Glen, Pennsylvania, and he has also taught at Drexel University and the Haverford School.
